Landscape Design Sherbondys is a full service design and build nursery. John Sherbondy is an ISU horticulture graduate who has been designing and installing landscaping projects in Southwest Iowa for Landscape Design over 35 years. After completing 4 years as a newspaper carrier, he began his formal training at the old Meyer Greenhouse on Benton Street where he gleaned his love for grinding dirt and pulling orders for local garden markets. Today John Sherbondy offers a free landscape service in the Southwest area. We service areas east of the Missouri. We do have rules for the free service. It must be a project that will be completed that year. We are unable to provide long-term landscaping plans. We have a minimum purchase of $500 worth of plants. I am happy to draw up plans for customers who want to plant their own projects, provided they purchase the material from Sherbondys. Services that Sherbondys provides includes, planting, edging, sprinkler systems, sodding, seeding, retaining walls, drainage systems and patios. We have three tree spades including a semi mounted Big John Tree Mover that can move a tree up to 7 inch trunk diameter. Other equipment includes 2 Bobcats, a Toro skid steer loader, trencher, vibratory plough, trencher edger, tractor, fine grader, rototiller, 4 wheeler, zero turn radius mowers and lots of other landscaping toys.  The landscape appointment. Spring appointments are made on a first come first serve basis. We ask that you honor the appointment date and time. We are not able to move appointments from one day to the next because each day is dedicated to one landscape design. So you need to make every effort to keep the appointment or you may be rescheduled a lot later than you would like. Dynascape Design is a professional landscape design program that yields a planting plan for customers.
